Anyone know if its an 8 hour break between shifts in Cali? Whats the Law?

Ok my work is fooked up...but I already explained that In random thoughts. Well I have a question for any Californians who know what the law might be. Ya see I work until 1am one night and it takes me 15 mintues to get home. Then we have a 2 hour meeting the next morning from 7-9am....then I have to go back at 4-11 pm that next day...and most likely 10am-7pm the day after that. Its a mandatory meeting and if we dont go we get in trouble. But I am pissed cuz i will only get about 4 hours of sleep! And my boss (who i already know lies)...said its a 6 hour turn around by law...well i have read a few things and am sorta confused...I have been told its 8 hours...not 6!...anyone know??

 

it definately should be 8, alone for the reason that this is the number of ours one needs to stay healthy. Maybe you can complain somewhere higher, a health at workplace institution or a trad union or something like that. no one can work properly with a constant lack of sleep.
