Some Christian told me that the dead line for the end of the world was 2012. He said that's when revelation is coming and there will be no escape and nowhere to hide. I think he's full of shit. Nothing against Christianity. I just don't believe him. Anyone else heard anything like that?
At best, it will be the end of the world 'as we know it'. I suggest you read up on some of the threads around here, there's a ton about this subject lately. You could also try checking The Future section in the forums, there's a lot there too.
According to the Aztec Calender the world will then, but according to the Jehavoah Wittnessess the world was susposed to ended several times in the past. Now we are just in the last days. We are currently in what is sometimes called the Ascension. As the earth's vibrational rate increases - time moves ahead faster. More folks will discover many subverted and hidden talents. We are undergoing dna changes. The leaders of this planet (hidden and public) are doing their absolute best to keep this from happening. Toxins, tyrranny, alleged cell phone towers, chemtrails, vaccinations are all designed to prevent human evolution to 4th 5th dementional realities. Keep us enslaved and trapped in 3D. Humanity has allowed this. We are all to blame. Change with the times. Read Handbook for New Paradigm. Keep your energies up. Put things in your environment which have high natural energies. I do read the bible. Reading the gospels right now. I'm not a fan of organized religion, but I think if you want to believe in that because it makes you a better person or it comforts you that's find. Just don't force your beliefs on others. When I was into punk rock one of my favorite bands at the time the Unseen said a quote that really inspired me. It was "Don't preach, learn, teach. That's what I plan to do with through my artistic abilities. I guess what I'm saying is it's allright to discuss your opinions, but don't try and force them on anyone. I feel kinda sorry for all these folks who go on an on about the end of the world, an don't stop to actually soak in tha present.
In fact, the Mayan calendar does NOT predict the end of the world 2012. The calendar merely stops then. The rest is just speculation. Their isn't a Mayan prediction for the end of the world, the calendar had to stop somewhere....
Apparently - The Pope -knows the exact date when the World will end.Or rather every successive Pope is told. Do you suppose he'll tell us.Not on your Nelly!!!.
i think the only reason the world may end sooner that anyone would like is because of humans. we're destroying the planet, and we're destroying eachother.

Very good post, and very true. I know that no one can stop me from ascending! This is the way things are to go! So be it! There's nothing anyone can do about it... I don't really rely on Christian teachings of the Last Days. For one I don't see it as bad as they say. I think a lot of it is fearmongering, and nothing more. Institutions try to govern people. They want to spread fear and RULE over others. A persons path maybe completley different from the Latter Day teachings. I wouldn't worry about the end. It will come, and spreading fear won't help at all! I think we should face it and do the best we can to live. If we fail it is what it is an end to this body... That's funny! Hell no they won't tell us. The Vatican is never to fond of open debate and humiliation.... If we were told then they would have something to live up to! I'm sure the pope know a lot of things that are kept secret. I doubt he know the exact date... Who told the pope(s) to begin with? jesu
The Vatican probab;y knows a lot of 'truths' about the world that they arn't telling us. I'd LOVE to get into their sealed vaults for even 5 minutes!
