Hey have any of you ever seen these Blythe dolls? They apparently have a body like barbie but the heads are huge... Anyways..I have a friend that is mad over them...n loads of people are.. The reason Im bring it up is this..There seems to be mad money in making the doll clothes!! http://www.squeakymonkey.com/new.html my friend wanted a lil shirt on ebay...it ended at over $80... i just dunno if i could sew that lil...haha madness
those dolls are crazy! I was just looking at the history. Anyway, are their bodies the same size as Barbie's or Bratz? I have some great old Barbie patterns and it is not tough to come up with new ones, but you really need to have a doll to fit.
Whoa, those look like Margaret Keane's artwork. My grandma loves her and I know she'd flip over these dolls. Here's the Margaret Keane gallery: http://www.keane-eyes.com/
yeah my friend is mad over them n she said that the bodies are the same as barbie's they are kinda scary but they are also kinda cute.. can you imagine dressing them up in lil hippie patchwork stuff ? so cute
ok my friend is retarded...it was a bunny suit n it sold for $61 ha.. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=36546&item=5574430777&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW
wow, bratz are pretty scary looking things... Although I once found a brats that was my clone in doll form... it was scary, so is barbie... I"m assuming Blythe dolls must be similar
Some patterns here: http://www.puchimadam.com/ and some stuff here too: http://huangfamily.com/craftlog/archives/cat_blythe.html
o...m...g...That has got to be the scariest creation on the face of the planet....really...who buys these things? what happened to baby dolls? the ones that look like real babies...you dress them up, burp them, carry them around in little strollers? You know, like what Michael does, but only it's 5 year olds....so it's ok...
There are some dolls that looks just like those called Pullips, which are like the cheaper version. People will pay a lot for a doll makeover on ehtose too.
