I am soon to move to washington state. Does anyone have any advice on how to get life started there? including getting a job, which i hear are pretty scarce.... Thanks! Renee
it is pretty scarce im moveing to Ourgon oh you might get a job as an R.N. but you take care of old people and wipe ass i havent done it yet but i might if i dont find work soon good luck PEACE
My dad looked for a job for 3 or 4 months before he found anything. Lower-paying jobs are easier to come by than higher-paying ones. Don't give up hope though; it seems people here take a looong time to call you back after you apply for stuff. Hope you like it here! ~Nova
I agree with the other two... the job market here is a joke. You should start looking for a job and try to set up something before actually getting here. Of course, it depends what you are looking to get into. Generally, the older folks are losing their jobs to new college grads, and the older folks are now working lower-paying jobs that the high school and college students were originally doing.
Heh... Good luck. I've been living in Washington my "whole life" and I've been jobless for 2 months now. I'm thinkin of moving! Tell ya what. I'll trade ya spots where did/do you live? ^_^
