What do you hate/love about Random Thoughts

I don't think any of us can deny the fact that more dumb shit is posted in random thoughts than in any other area of the forum. I just wanted to know what you all hate/love about random thoughts. What keeps you coming back?

 

hate the constant bashing

love the random crap in here threads like "i had mac and chesse tonight"pinkfloyd, or"ask me any scifi question, just the odd spot on the board i guess

obviously its speed and random factors.... not the majority of thread topics ....its more organic ....ya gots ta turn shit to fertilizer or use the fake substitute .

I'm not sure exactly why, but it's always rather entertaining.. I guess I just enjoy observing the interactions.

 

cuz theres people in here late at night, most others are abandoned. + Colenzo and DSK keep me laughing.

 

I can't really say that I like Random Thoughts as much as I did when I posted at the old forums. I miss bird and pavel posting here. I suppose the main thing I like about the place is I'm guaranteed to get at least one good laugh before I leave. There are a few very intelligent witty people who post here.

i come here because a lot of the people are very entertaining to talk to, and there's a lot of unique people here. and people just say whatever the fuck they want.

i dont like how its often like a bad & dramatic after-school special

 

I agree with that statement. I think there's a fine line between tasteful comedy and and immaturity. Perhaps I cross that line sometimes myself, but I try not to. There's a difference between being witty, and posting rude brainless comments also. I personally don't have much taste for the latter.

To answer your question, I rarely come here (to the forums altogether). I just started to find it monotonous. I miss some people (Like you and my Adam and a few others)

I hate how random thoughts gets so much shit from people with bad attitudes. I thrive on happiness and sometimes the hatefulness is just too much for me to take...

But I absolutely love most of the regular posters...KJ, Pink, Peanuts, and so many others...too many to name! They make it worth it, to wade through the bullshit, just to find their great threads and thoughts
