Hello to both of you! I'll mention that right away I really don't look or act like a hippy. Yet, the feeling of peace, friendship and love here is so strong that I'm part of the family too. It may not look by the nos of post that I'm a regular but that's because everything's been rebooted! I've been coming to this place for years now! When you guys talk a few times to Angelgodiva, Shane, ect... You'll become adicted to great place! The mods are also real cool! There is a lot of lattitude - they just don't really like it if you attack others for no reason - but apart from that - you can bring any point up! Love, Friend.
Hi ya'll I'm new here too and i'm just gettin into the old lifestyle, well not really. It's more like I'm just realizing that I think and act like a hippie. The thing is I started thinking about it when I went to school one day and someone said,"man... you look like a hippie!" well I know that apperance doesn't mean diddly- squat. Hey there "Friend" what exactly does a hippy look like nowadays? My mother uses the old saying that a hippy is...a Jack that looks like a Jill and smells like a John. Meaning...A guy with long hair and doesn't shower. But someone can think like a hippy without looking like my mothers idea of a hippy.
Well I don't know... you could say that what you choose to wear is a reflection of your personality... but then some people see clothes as irrelavent and wear whatever. Hmmm... Anyway, hello fellow newbie!
