I've just resently started watching some episodes of Doctor Who, has anyone else seen this show? It's low budget, but it's really a cool show. I got a DVD of it called the "Androids From Tara". Did you ever watch Doctor Who when it was on television?
Oops, just picked up on this because I thought this would be about the new Dr Who series that has started showing in the UK. http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/ It's working as a show in it's own right, but yes I'm old enough to have lived practically through every re-generation of the Doctor. I don't remember many of the original William Hartnell episodes, but I certainly remember him morphing into Patrick Troughton, al in glorious black and white. My most feared monster was the Daleks - like millions of small children in the UK I hid behind the sofa and peeped out when they were on screen. I went to bed safe in the knowledge that at least they couldn't get upstairs - and then in 1967 they did just that. It took years of expensive therapy....(LOL) Everyone who knows the Doctor Who series has a favourite incarnation of this Galifreyan Time-Lord - I guess mine's Tom Baker
The recent BBC screenings of Doctor Who has surprised me. It's very good infact, quite impressive stuff. Tom Baker has to be my personal fav too, he was built for the role.
