i was having a great little go with the knitting/crocheting but now i'm in a bit of a knitting/crocheting slump. i just finished a beautliful little rainbow halter (jeepers, i wish i had a cam so i could post pics. he he) and now i have no idea what to make! i've got some really fine royal blue yarn and a bit of pastel green and have no ideas for either! anyone have any ideas to help get me out of this creative block? i've been surfing the web looking for some inspiration but am getting no where. lol. help!
Granny squares into a vest or bag? Maybe a hat? I am working on a heavy sweater/coat lately. It's knitted on size 15mm needles with 5 strands of yarn held together. I change colours one strand at a time so it's a free-for-all of colours. It's using up all of my odds and ends. I have the back and two front pieces done, and am working on the first sleeve. Each piece only took a day because of the huge needles.....I just haven't been working too hard on it lately.. I'll try and post a pic later.
Granny squares are always nice. If you want to alter some clothes you could make "paisleys" and put them on clothes like: http://michaels.com/online/images/e02100_lg.jpg http://michaels.com/art/online/projectsheet?pid=e02100&categoryid=29 I keep looking at it, but haven't gotten around to it and green and blue would probably look cool on jeans. Check out knitty.com or crochetme.com they usually have cool patterns.
