Toting Ronnie Body Across the US

come on folks, what's up with that? ronnie was a good actor, but a good president......well lets' say that i wasn't fooled. then to put on the week long boo-hoo fest for a wrinkled up old human is way beyond my comprehension. also i thought it was illegal to move bodies around unless they are embalmed. could someone out there convince me that his body was in that box!!! i shall await the many thoughts from you fine people out there.

 

I think its fine for people who were close to him to feel sorrow over his death, but they are going overboard and kissing the man's ass all over the media. Cmon people, he was a terrible president, he told jokes and acted like a funny, down to earth president just to distract the American Public from all the behind the scene shit that was going on (such as selling weapons to the contras). He kicked his own son out of his house for being gay, is that the kind of prsdient you can refer to as good? and then clinton gets shit on because he got a blowjob, this country has gone insane...

PS: Trickle Down Economics sucked too...

well, if people wanna mourn and make a big deal of it, let them. it was the end of an era, and whether you're happy or sad to see it go, it's still a big deal. there were a great many people who wanted to see the coffin and see his death treated with a degree of circumstance and drama. that's fine. it's over. one week out of your life of news watching to let people mourn is not that big a deal. for many people the big deal was more for the respect for the office than any actual knowledge of the president. i actually got quite a bit of living done while all that stuff was playing constantly on TV. i watched some, ignored the rest. kinda helped me break my TV addiction.

but while you may not have liked reagan, please treat the people who mourn his passing with a little care for a little while. for some of these people it was like watching their grandfather pass. let the wounds of it scar up a bit before you start in on them. if your great aunt mary, who was always good to you died, you wouldn't want to hear about how she chased off the kids who dared tread her lawn, and now the kids are dancing on her grave.
