wax makes your dreads nasty over time, picking up garbage and not letting it go. it's better not to use any wax at all and attempt a natural dread. i believe most people responding here will agree that wax makes for some gross rottiness ; do a quick search through the forum, maybe. i do believe there are at least a few threads on the subject already, including one long thread on basic dreadlock maintenance. btw, welcome to hf... peace, sophia
No wax!!!! EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER... OK? LOL Makes your dreadies all gross on the inside...maybe not right away, but eventually it will pick up dirt, grime...and maybe even bugs! *cringes*
No wax. It actually slows down the dread process, not to mention all the nasty-ness previously stated!
yea when we say no wax we mean no wax.. some people seem to think that when we say "no wax" we mean "no wax except the "dread only" wax" ....whcih we dont.. we MEAN no wax
You can use wax.. but soon you will understand why you should not use the goooup. like i once did.. resulting in cutting my dreadlocks off. (in my opinion its as bad as having bugs living in your hair.) If you look at some of the posts you will find pictures of my dread locks and the wax with in them.
