Rachel didn't manage to get tickets for me. However, two things:

The person she phoned suggested calling up Monday, since some peoples' orders will probably be cancelled because of insufficient funds in their credit card account.

Also, the company that ran a coach trip to Paris last year for the show in Bercy are running another this year.

So it looks like there's still hope

OH yeahhhhhhhhhhh managed to get tickets which was nothing short of a miracle when you consider all the scalpers, touts, evildoers, bruce-haters, crashing websites, crap phonelines, useless staff employed at ticket companies, etc etc etc

What have i gained from the experience?

The sound of an engaged phoneline playing over and over again in my head, day after day after day after....

its wierd though because i got tickets to his last gig without even trying, guess its the capacity difference between crystal palace football stadium and the royal albert hall that is the reason hmmm

I recommend you all listen to radio2 for the next year or so as theyre never going to stop playing Devils and Dust

As for Cream tickets... Wankers.. I got through and ordered tickets about 4 times, I can even remember what seat etc.. but the website kept timing out so I'd loose them.. I may possibly stick a bomb under those seats to get my revenge to who ever stole my ticket..

However.. i am over that now.. and spent all my money on a summers worth of Queen and Paul Rodgers tickets :H Rock and Roll baby!!

Update: I don't know if this has been mentioned in this thread previously, and I can't be arsed to look. But Bruce is apparently doing a tour after this one with the band as well. So the next tour will be a bigger mix of his work, I reckon.

Bruce2...we've yet to reach the subject, so I thought I'd bring it up here...what d'you think of the new album?

 

He's doing another tour with the band!! great news! lets hope the tickets are easier to get this time round!!!

I like the new album, i think, hehe, its slower growing on me than any of his previous albums, with the exceptions of Human Touch and Lucky Town maybee, but, it is growing on me and Im sure i will love it soon. A few of the songs I like a great deal like Maria's bed and All I'm thinkin about...I think its been a bit over-produced though, I think it would sound better if he had just recorded it all live and not layered anything,not sure about that Brenden O Brian bloke really, though Bruce seems to like him....What do you think of it??

 

I kind of like it...I especially like the added DVD with bare live acoustic tracks, although it won't run well on my computer
