Hello all! This is my first post on here in probably yrs. I dont have alot of time to type this all out right now bc my keyboard is somewhat broken so ill make this short...im wanting to take up sewing...get a machine and need advice on the best to get for a beginner and if you think its possible for me to teach myself. I mostly am interested in making some stretchy but NOT tight knee length skirts and sewing my own designs/patches i make on them...stars/goddesses/etc.. how hard do you think this would be for a beginner?? also where do i start? patterns?? or is it easy to just freehand it?? just curious....ANY advice or info would help. I would like to get to a point where i could make all of my clothes.
Much love and Peace! I will write more later to introduce myself etc...or you can check out my myspace profile i have linked on my profile here.

i don't know that much about sewing clothes. but you can take a ready made skirt or whatever and unhem it and then ues that as a pattern and/or you can modify it. but if you are afraid of making a mistake then you should not sew it will happen. the olny way you will learn is by doing. you are going to have to fuck up a few times befor you get it "right". welcome to the forums. i hope you have fun playing with us.
