What Makes Someone "Pretty" or "Hot"?

well it certainly isn't any one thing, nor despite the vested brainwashing of the cosmetics industry to the contrary, is it perceived the same way by the eyes of any two beholders. i suppose at any givin point in time that is a cultural statistical maxima of what the most beholders see as being. but statistical maxima and individual beholders are two very different besties. nor do either ever stop evolving, if evolving is the right word for constant, more or less randomly vectored drift.

 

anyone that reflects light and makes a good immage can be pretty....but hot pertains to motion ...and spirit ..... and phisicality

 

i concur with mmmmnuggets and sirrubin,

i value intelligence in a woman and hey, if she happins to look real good too thats just a bonus lol.

 

it's all about what you're into. you can feel a person's personality and that may make you give them a chance or run in the opposite direction. there's been a person here and there that i just plain hideous, and yet they're sexually attractive.

HAHAHAHAHA bird yet again you never cease to put a smile on my face. But i agree with some other posts...someone with both is beautiful.

I am always attracted to imperfect, different looking people, but when i tell these people that they're gorgeous, they don't believe me...like im joking about it or something.

I'm easily attracted to people who have a different edge to them, because more times than not, someones looks are a reflection of their personalities, and someone with edge, is usually someone with something to talk about. Different looking people usually have very enticing personalities.

 

I think if someone has nice eyes that brings up their good looks. Pimples and stuff like that makes people uglier. Personal hygine makes people appear hot, also make up nad hair dyes can make people look better. Most people prefer people who are in shape. I personally think it doesn't matter what people look like. It's what's on the inside that counts.

 

For me pretty is someone who has delicate features.
But hot is someone who is new, interesting, bright, bold. Someone who seems to require your amediate attention. Probably someone who I have strong sexual feelings for.

 

You could take the same face and stick two different brains and personalities behind each one, and the face would look different.

Of course personality plays a role, I was just talking about physical attractiveness. I can think someone's "hot" on a superfiicial level, and if I ever meet them and our personalities clash, well then naturally, there goes the attraction.

Yeah, I can get pleased rather easily. While people are searching for Mr. or Mrs. Perfect, I done got off already. Which is all we're after anyway. Don't deny it.

 

I can deny that. Hell, I can deny anything. Of course sex plays a part, but I personally seek companionship as well.
