It's possible to get any drug in A'dam, but this results in trying
to score off street dealers which is not recommended for obvious
reasons. Believe me you can't miss these dealers around the RLD.

i'll be there in feb., im a off season kinda guy i guess ,queen's day looks like a blast but way too crowded for me.......

 

Yes A'dam is real busy in the peak. After I tried it once in August
it was way too busy everywhere, infact a bit of a nightmare, so
I always go in Feb now, although the weather is a bit dodgy it's
less manic on the streets and coffeeshops.
Roll on Feb, far too long to friggin wait. LOL

Yep, probably going to be mid Feb onwards for me.
Not booking until my airline lets me do it online as it's
still too far ahead at the moment.

Plenty of time left to sort it all out.

As far as my map is concerned by clicking my sig, well
web design is just a bit of a hobby for me. It took a
while to do and the next step is to add photos of all
the coffeeshops when I'm there again in Feb. This
involves visiting all the coffeeshops on the list, which
I'm looking forward to doing and will be a laugh.

Apologies Snowhite... I have no leads to give you but I hope you come across the lil' red E's I had at New Years. Like it used to be... seriously; see how one finds you and work your way up!

Getting E, your probably have a better chance scoring off
a dealer in a club than off the streets although either way
can come up trumps. Yes, yes, we have all heard about how
dodgy the street dealers are, but some really do have what
you want. One street dealer, years ago, actually opened
up a bag infront of me for a free sample of coke, wanting
to sell more to me, can you believe that.!

 

a friend used to get an e tester from the smartshop....talk to the dodgy street dealers during the daytime and say...."i'll pay for one now....TEST IT...and if its good i'll want more....so don't rip me off and get me the best"


many dodgy street dealers would take the pill first handed to my friend back out of his hand and instantly after he delivered the line. then they'd produce a different pill that was the real deal!!!! others made phone calls and picked up the real deal in less than 30 minutes.

these dodgy types CAN get anything...but most rip you off unless your smart. I'd avoid them entirely but its your vacation.

 

Yes, I just ignore them ususally with a quick wry smile of
acknowledgement and keep walking. I don't touch any of
the Class A narcotics anymore, gave it up years ago.
Marijuana and a bit alcohol is my vice.
Some of those dealers are or beggars are quite pushy
though and it's almost impossible to walk over the
Oz Voorburgal canal and not hear the infamous.
''psst'' from all directions.

I personally don't even like looking at them / acknowledging them in at all. Unless they look threatening, then i don't let them get out of my sight. Speaking in there presence is the worst....then they find out your language and start talking to you. The closest I came to a problem was a jackass white bum who threw something at us.......we saw him the next day pestering another person in a similar location and that other person decked him without hesitation.

 

Thats a strange coincidence. I came close to pushing my fist
into one of these dealers/beggars myself. He would not leave
my side so I swivelled on my heal in the other direction and
he followed, then the complete idiot, no doubt high on horse
or something, shouted directly in my ear as loud as he could.
I was so close to putting him on the floor with ease but I
just knew if I did all his druggy mates would have swarmed
around me. They are such a friggin pain.

 

was he the little ginger haired guy ...... he is a a-dam legend and im kind of looking forward to seeing him again....also look out for the guy who looks like Manson and tells you he's from south africa.... mostly harmless but hard to shake off unless u cross there palms with silver

 

Yeh, I find them all relatively harmless just annoying and a pain.
I suppose every city has their fair share of down and outs.
I've had loads of beggars too hastle me for money and most of
the time I give a little, hey, I'm a generous guy and you never
know one day it could be you doing the same, although I do
wonder just how much they could possibly make in a day from
people like me.

The only famous down and out guy I keep seeing on every
trip is that black guy who shuffles along singing
''Sitting on the Dock of the Bay'', He's always there.
There's also an English guy who meanders up and down the
RLD day and night, harmless but pushy.

 

What about the guy of north african desent who keeps punching into his palm,he came up behind me and did it ,i almost crapped myself, is he still around or did he get a shot at the title.?

 

LOL, I don't think I've seen this guy, that's funny stuff,
I can just picture that. I'll keep my eye open for him.
I wonder what would happen if you did it back to him.?
