Essay. Any ideas?

i have to write a "persuasive essay" for my Language Arts class. i need an idea for what i should write about. i was thinking legalizing marijuana, but then some stuff happened and my mom got all pissed and won't let me write about that. some people are writing about lowering the drinking age back to 18 and others are just writing stuff about things they feel strongly about. i don't have any other ideas that people haven't already taken. so can u guys help me?
