Okay, so black or should I say brown people can pick on us white people and call us white trash and crackers and get away with it not being considered raciest, well it is. If a white person called a "brown" person a ni**er or a c**n there would be some problems. What the f**k is up with that? Also here in the United States we have this television program called BET standing for Black Entertainment television. This program is a black/brown music thing kinda like MTV 9music television.) Whites aren't allowed on this BET TV program. If a white person came up with a WET, white entertainment television the founders of it would probably get sued for racism. Now tell me that BET isn't raciest.

Fifty years ago, it was normal to spit on a black guy. Today it's normal for a black guy to accuse thou of doing it even though you are innocent of this sin.

I have my own troubles ya know. In heaven, 25% of my angels must be black, 25% women, 25% handicapped, 24% hispanos... Once in a while, I get to have a tall, healthy, white male. Even then though, I cannot laugh with him otherwise I'm accused of plotting against some Holy Niggers.

And what do you mean, white people aren't allowed on bet? I've seen plenty of white people on there, the few times I've flipped by. Besides, if there was a WET, what the hell would they play, Polka music? Yeah, there are some double standards, but most of the time they're just joking around. I wouldn't call it racism.

My mom was on BET a long time ago. She used to be a gospel singer. She's as white as they come....

 

I've actually heard whites use the term white trash. Whites have been on BET, so you're totally mistaken in that regard. Also, NBC, CBS, ABC, etc. all try to reach a "mainstream" (read: white) audience.

Theres nothing wrong with minority groups or groups that have been constently under mined by society having their own space or own tv programme.
if no one was racist people wouldn't need their own safe place, sadly theres still a lot of phobia around so its nice to have a haven where one can feel that one won't be judged.
your middle of the road hetrasexual joe has never had this kind of predudice so won't need there own programmes, anyhow its already been said that most programmes are geared towards the white market still anyway.

It’s not necessarily raciest, but there is definitely a double standard. The “White Entertainment Channel” if so labeled, would be considered raciest, and would never stand. It would not be raciest; it would just be like having a channel for only cartoons. It would simply be specialized programming for a specific audience.



One thing that highly irritates me is when you fill out an application or survey and it says “what are you? African American, Asian, Hispanic, WHITE! Etc.” This is very offensive to me and I always write “Caucasian” in the Other___ slot. I am in fact not WHITE and nobody is white just like nobody is black, yellow, red or whatever(although some are very near to these colors).

 

I love it when people start a conversation with 'not to be racist' or I'm not racist but...'
