Openminded - good or bad?

does anyone think they are sometimes too openminded?? i am most of the times, but does anyone feel that being openminded can sometimes be a bad thing??

no, I think you may be using the wrong word here. You can never be too open minded. If you are extremely open minded it would just mean that you consider every possibility. You can be too open to suggestion however, where you do what ever people tell you to...

2 completely different things. Being naive is being very open to suggestion. Open minded usaully refers to quickness to judge (or lack thereof)

 

I dont think you can ever be too open minded.... i agree with Duck... you can only be too open minded to suggestion in which then you get taken advantage of

 

Can't be too open minded. Life changes all the time, if you make up your mind about something 5 minutes from now you're opinion will be obsolete.

 

i didn't think u could, just that quite a few people i know seem to like criticise things that they never even know about or haven't even tried, and its beginning to get on my nerves alot

Some people would lead us to believe that they are completely open-minded to absolutely everything because they think it's hippy of them. Then they go around forums and say things like "You're not a very good hippy".....like we care.

Nobody is too open-minded......that would mean that they don't care about anything or think that anything is wrong.
