102801: I was walking somewhere after work. I only had a vague idea where I was going. But, the fall leaves were intensely beautiful. Heading down a generically identifiable highway, I soon came to a large, nondescript eatery on my left. It was "(somebody’s name) Burger Barn". I remembered it being in another dream because of the long, double driveway that swept up from the highway in an arc to the small hill it sat upon. I went up and in, just milling around, but as ever, the invisible traveler that folks never notice or speak to. It would surprise the hell out of them if I should speak to them. I left and came to and intersection, all the while thinking through an explanation of just what exactly I was trying to accomplish - the lucidity was fading, and the original destination was a general blur in my mind’s eye. I decided to turn left up the new side street, walking along it’s shoulder. I had an impression of a small rain run off or creek on my side of the new side street and a wall of conifers on the far side. The shoulder quickly became a sheer dirt wall and I had only a tenuous hand hold. I moved back to the intersection and climbed up, imagining walking in the street and the reactions of drivers who had for a moment to become less than automatic behind the wheels of their cars. It was then, standing at the corner, that I really took notice of the area that the small creek ran through. My eye followed a broad walk along the side of the side street until halfway along there were steps leading down. I noticed children playing on summer-like grassy banks near the shallow creek. I took note of the stones at the bottom of the creek. Then as my eye followed the creek back, I saw houses and families, and it all seemed homey, quaint, and somewhat Scandinavian.
You will soon have a rise/increase in status or popularity. Things are going to begin falling into place for you now, enjoy the ride.
