Make Aldous Huxley's Island a Reality

Are any of you familiar with the Island organization, started by Bruce Eisner? They're trying to raise money to buy an island and create a "sensible" society like the one Huxley described. Check it out.

If you want another interesting looking (and a little bit more pragmatic one) at a democratic and egalitarian society read A Homage to Catalonia by George Orwell, which describes the regions of Catalonia in Aragon during the Spanish Civil War under the guidance of the anarchists.
