it depends how used to piercings you are... and it's always different for different people. my tragus which hurts most people, didnt hurt me at all.... i didnt even feel it. and my industrial bar hurt horribly for about 5 seconds, but the pain went away after that. both of those piercings are supposed to hurt a lot, but mine didnt, so i guess it totally depends upon the person, and being used to needle piercings helps too, i have been told.
a bit of a strong pinch. it's rather breathtaking, not the pain which isn't that bad, but the shock of having a bit of metal suddenly rammed through your skin. do expect bleeding, and make sure you take care of it afterwards. go to a competent piercer who takes good care of their equipment and always uses fresh, disposable needles.
I've had it done four times...it is one of the lesser painful piercings in my opinion. The intial shock hurts for a couple seconds then goes numb. I remeber I had this weird headache by my piercing when the cold air hit me outside. Its summer so maybe it won't happen to you...anyone else get a weird headache???
quote=Does eyebrow piercing hurt? i dont know per say. i pierced my own eyebrow in 11th grade during study hall with some ice and a safety pill. i enjoyed the pain but i was nuts back then.... (it got infected and i took it out in two wks)
I let my best friend pierce mine with a safety pin. It didn't hurt at all, just maybe a small little pinch and that's it. Try to have some music in the background if you can and just focus on it.
I had it done today D ) ... it didn't hurt that much ... it just stung and felt wierd as the needle ripped through flesh! It made me feel a little faint but it was hot in there so that may have contributed! I'm very pleased with it though and it suits me! Right, let's see what to pierce next ... (that's right ... tongue!)
Pain is relavent to whether or not you have a tolerance or not. It will hurt that is for certain but how much is up to you.
