what did you get your mom for mothers day?

i got dark chocolate and roses, did the chores she would normally do and a big bear hug

 

hmmm...lunch, braclet, and a tea cup she soooooooo wanted.

 

i got my mother a gold and rosed colored antique tray thing and a candle holder...

 

man those are some "killer" tampons

Imma make her fondue tonight.

 

i bought her shoes... shoes are good. I was gonna take her out for brunch but we went house-hunting instead

I called my mother yesterday, because I've had to work since. Of course she was in WV and got cut off on her cell phone, but I got home early enough today to call her again. I haven't seen her for almost a month now, even though I live less than a mile away.

i came back home on mothers day at about 5pm

stopped at the dodgy myers in the country and bought her some black leather gloves, a book, a cd and a dvd. and i made her a card

 

i talked to my mom for an hour and had a very good talk at that
she knows i love her more then i can explain.... so thats lame but im
skint right now so nothing more could be done...

my oldest daughter gave me a home made card with a magnet
shaped like a heart with this poem on it......

mothers hold thier childrens hands only for a little while
but their hearts forever

and oh man did i cry..... im a softy

 

Nothing. We should honor our mothers more than just one day.

 

I got her some flower plants and a few other small things.
I think Mother's Day is a sweet idea....it's a day set aside to show your Mom that you care. We should indeed honor them all the time,but I feel like my Mom would feel bad if every other Mother was getting gifts/calls on Mother's Day but she wasn't.

 

my kids got me a necklace with these little booties for their birth month..they were so excited to give it to me..their love made me more happy then the necklace..they also made me things at school...
