beastie boys suck. they are a disgrace to music( i used to listen to rap/hiphop only for a lil while and there is so much better hiphop groups)and they are one of the worst groups ever. they suck balls and need to be rocketed to a distant planet where noone could hear their horrible shit ever again. but thats just my opinion, free speech rules!:D

I like their older stuff the best. This new album isnt bad, but there are so many better albums released by underground hip hop artists.

why do they suck so bad to you guys? i agree that at times the lyrics are weird and mostly about bragging and boasting (it's their quirk). but as of what is out right now on the radio, the beastie boys is the only crew that still has that classic b-boy hip hop style. everything else is this weak r&b/pop fused hip hop or loud ignorant sounding southern crunk. with how classic they sound, the timing for their record release can inspire something new. the beats on their new record is the shit! i believe mix master mike is back with this album? who ever it is, those tracks are the best i've heard in the longest. oh and can you talk shit on their videos? i cant.

is that classic b-boy style mean they sound like the beastie boys? Or is the style mname and them having that style just a coincidence? I loved ever prior album, and I expect to love this one too, but I aint heard it yet, so i cannot judge yet.

classic b-boy meaning break dancing or breaker boy etc...

hip hop right now, even with some of those underground artists, lost that element of hip hop of creating break beats and creating something that b-boys can break to or for the pop lockers to pop lock to. personally i like the beastie boys more and more with every release. to me they get better and better. liscensed to ill is the album i leastly like...

ok im 31 in 1986 i somehow discovered *hip hop* RUN DMC, UTFO, Grand Master Flash/Melle Mel...i was 11 or 12( i dont feel like doing math ) I loved it i had a "rap name" and everything I was (and still sorta am) Wavey D... I like all types of music but Hip Hop was one genre...My guilty pleasure of the 90's was some ganster rap NWA, Onyx, I didnt dig the lyrics for what they were about at all but i liked the flow and hip hop was real Funk at the time Geore Clinton and James Brown were heavily sampled lol Sampling was big too..i liked arested development, tribe, das efx then and now for fun..but the Bling Bling period we are in Sucks to me I cant relate at all to hummers and platinum coated everthing rolling around in money materielism bullshit So i like the Beasties, Mos Def, And Roots So i dig the new album they are so consistant Im done ramblin' now

Hey guys, give the Beasties a break. They are a very talented and versatile group, every album they've done is totally different than the rest of their albums, excluding Check Your Head and Ill Communication.
