I think one photograph says more than a thousand words: This is a dome completely made out of one piece of fiberglass. It was carved out of the largest single piece of fiberglass ever found in the South-Tibetian mountain of 'Abi Himaliva' alias 'Mount Himaliva'. Hope this helps.
I'm sorry but you don't carve fiberglass and you can't find it in the mountains. It is kinda toxic and smelly making it, basically you have a mold or something you can drape the stuff on, it comes in sheets of fibrey stuff and you paint on a liquid that makes it hard, but like i said its toxic as heck. also foam layers can be added for strength or filler.
