Hell yeah I remember Blind Melon! What happened to them after Shannon Hoon died? Did they all part company? I do remember that Shannon Hoon looked all strung out at Woodstock 94.
The remaining members tried to keep Blind Melon together with a new name and new singer/guitarist Chris Shinn. That plan fell through though, and they went seperate ways... Brad Smith put together Unified Theory, released a great album in 2000, UT broke up shortly after that, then Brad released somewhat of a solo album in 2002 under the name Abandon Jalopy. I dunno what any of them are doing now.
Yeah I'm a huge melon-head! I've never been to his vigil though and I'm going to try to get there this year.
I absolutely love BM. I had a project in Animation Drawing Basics Class, the topic was a portrait of a celebrity, and I drew Shannon...You ever see the pic of him with the bird on his head? That'd be the one, but without the bird.

Dude blind melon is my favorite band of all time and unified theory was an awesome band also too bad UT broke up ..... sadness
