I'm usually pretty good at deciphering dreams and finding the meaning in them, but this last one is very strange and unique. Heather, my lifemate, and I both had a nightmare a couple nights ago, in the same setting. I sketched out an illustration of the area in my dream and what I saw/where I was. She was able to confirm that it was the same place where she was and she saw some of the same strange things and freaky people that were in the dream. It was very strange, like something straight out of House of 1000 Corpses or the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. We escaped, but the person with us did not. This isn't the first time that we have had the same dream at the same location, during the same night. It is very odd, neither of us can explain it. Also, I wouldn't have thought anything of it if we had been watching horror movies or something similar, but we didn't. There were no outside influences. What are your thoughts? Has anyone ever experienced this before? Does anyone know what this could mean?
Hi KevinSmith ... sometimes when the mysteries of life show up to make us feel wondering it is like they ask us to find a different place of understanding deeper inside ourselfes, and this way tap into the potential that is ours. We are all part of the mystery. We create it even as we perceive. We only tend to forget that the pidgeonholes we feel so safe in are still part of it, and not apart is it from us ... and this is also not confined to dreams alone, that sometimes leave us shaken, changed and more whole all at the same time. Everything is connected ... even the last corner of the universe is connected with your desktop in this very moment and there is a mutual influence neither positive nor negative. But wandering along our road we make it all a reflection of our own deepest desire to change and become whole inside. We find missing parts. We connect with our own self again and again. In this we connect and are being connected incessantly with the others around that we share the experience of being here with, and with all living things. They are reflections as well. And sometimes we tap into such strange places that hold dismantling as much as they hold healing, and the adventure of change. We create them. But what we do with it is what counts ... do we see ... does it take us where we stand in awe and wonder, and find in this we are not limited. I think dream sharing is but one door to the greater awareness of us all. Long rambling ... well just an idea. Thank you for sharing your input !
