is the current generation better than "Generation X" (90s), "The Yuppie Generation" (80s), "The Me generation" (70s) or "The flower generation" (60s), or "the silent generation" (50s ) , in terms of family values, school achievement, mental health and socal accomplishment? If you had to rank the generation, how would you rank them? Peace, Ash
I think the 60s, 70s, and 90s were the best..... the 50s and 80s were shitty. When I mean nineties, I mean like... 93-97
If I lived in the 50s, I would have bought a dozen or two 1957-1960 Gibson Les Pauls.... they were $250 or so back then and today some '59s are topping $250,000... I love my reissue but I'm working on electrical problems.
I like what I heard about the sixties. The best decade concerning musicians, social ideas and "mental health". I like Hippies.
ahhhhhh i knew everyone'd pick 60s. i picked 80s. kids were weird and there was sex/drug awareness kickin in. big hair. fun music. cheesy pornos.. who could ask for more?
There was too much crack and coke. 70s! weed and shrooms, allman brothers, prog rock, and neil young.
I'd have to say the 40's had the best children. The children in the 50's were growing in the 60's and rebelling against everything and causing lots of problems. Thoes children from the 60's (a lot - deffinatley not all) raised VERY shitty children. I would have to say this goes for the generations inbetween as well. I think now-a-days we're starting to focus more on moral values than anything else. But, since the 50's is the closest to the 40's, I picked it.
shuddup. crack and coke are the sophisticated drugs you dumbnut. billy idol. the cure. :H ninety nine red balloons. fuck you i also wanted to add, that the children of the 50s have grown up very ...common...and..disturbed. yeah. they live in houses with fat white siding. its gross. and they drive rez cars.
No, my point was, it's not really 99 RED balloons. It translates to 99 balloons. They had to change the lyrics to make it work with the music.
