crap

What do i do? Raven my daughter is turning 6 and i wrote out all her invitations for all her classmates for the 21st from 1-3 and tomorrow she was going to take them to school to hand out. well today i check the mail and there is a invitation for a girl in her class is having her birthday party the same day but from 11-1, which we will go to... grrr so i opened up all the invtations and changed them from 3-5, but fuck i'm thinking now half the kids won't show up and now i have to feed these kids more then just cake because its between dinner time. I can't change it to another day because the last day of school is the 24th and most of the kids are leaving for the summer right after school lets out. This sucks for my daughter. Blahh.

 

What can you do? THe other mom beat you to the punch.

 

crappy luck, but not much you can do about it. all of the kids you originally wanted to come may not make it now, but as long as a few show up your daughter's day will be fine, i'm sure.

i definitely don't think you have to feed all these kids dinner now, either. just make a bday cake and throw on a tray of snackie cracker & cheeses or something to tide them over. they can have dinner when they get home at 5:30.

why dont you two join up and have one huge party all day

 

that sucks..and has happened to be before..just see who comes..it seems like nobody from schools come to parties anymore..just the close friends..that or you can reschedule and crystal you are going to have to stop using that language in your title..crap is a harsh word from you women.

 

you could talk to the others girls mom and maybe the two parties can join together. that wouldnt be so bad

 

joint parties always suck. one person always has more friends/ is more popular than the other kid and that other kid will then feel like crap

What about changing it from 2-4 same day or making it for Sunday?

 

Sunday won't work we got stuff going on, and haha we live in texas everybody but us go to church so nobody would come then, and the folowing weekend all the kids are gone... well i send the invitations with Raven all we can do is just schedule it later and see what happens, Ravens family is coming too (which is a lot) so it won't be so bad i guess.
