Did you folks see on the news monday about the dog in Nairobe that found the abandon baby in the woods wrapped in a plastic bag? A little kid heard some crying around a shed and found a baby laying with a litter of puppies with the mother dog guarding them in the shed. The people there say the dog must have carried the baby across a busy road and through a barb wire fence to where it was found. The baby wieghed 7# 10oz which seems a pretty heavy load for such a small dog, the dog looks like it only wieghs about 25# itself. Anyway the baby is fine and hopefully somebody will give the dog and her family a home she's a stray dog the villagers say.
