I can feel you when you breathe
as your heart shadows a tree
I sense fulfilled endorphins in the air

shooting stars in the lucid sky
pushing me to give it one more try
    give me your hand...
    to end the grieving cries

moonlight shimmering off the rivers vein
    grassy fields, wind so calm
my blood is filled with your charm
    feeling never harmed

    life no longer in vain
    no more sitting in pain
not ashamed of feeling like a drain
    finished with the shame
    dripping away no more

    dreaming of the sea
    wooden ships everywhere...
    choppy waves all around me
    wondering where i'll go

    awakened on the shore
    sun rising before me
    hearing whispers in my ear
    realizing i've lost my fears

very very nice poem. i got caught up in a bit of the awkwardly rythmed rhymes, but when i just paid attention to the meaning, god damn! very nice
