I have read in a couple of peoples lsd experiences that it induces seizures. Are these seizures caused by the lsd itself or is the acid dilluded with something toxic?
it is possible that quite a few psychedelics (and stimulants) can "lower the seizure threshold" a bit...
I've never had any experience with LSD/acid, but I have some experience with grand mal seizures, which are the worst kind. I saw the title of your thread under "latest posts" and I had to respond. I had 5 grand mals within a few hour's time, in which case I was completely unconscious during the seizures, the day after I had my twins. In my case, it was supposedly due to the severe complications I was having, but I also had a history of several febrile seizures as a young child due to high fevers. Basically, I was more prone to having seizures than perhaps others would be. Anyway, even though my seizures happened two years ago, I am still diagnosed as an epileptic, I am on 500 mg of Dilantin daily (an anti-convulsant med) and under the care of a neurologist. I have thankfully, not had any episodes since however. My concern is for you. Not to frighten you at all, but if you are having seizures, you need to see a doctor. I agree with what gnrm23 commented about the acid possibly lowering your seizure threshold, but you may also have a medical problem that needs attention, and possibly, medication to prevent further seizure activity. Take care...
I, myself, am not having seizures. I am just doing a poster on lsd for school and this was just a question about possible risks of the drug.
