Oh and Bobby, I know a guy from the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band who is doing lots of bluegrass at the moment with symphony players. They all get a kick out of bluegrass. Les was saying it was some incredible playing. I'm still waiting on a CD from his son..... still waiting... I gotta contact him sometime or another.
Yeah, I love bluegrass and folk. That's what I'm into besides jazz/blues stuff on acoustic. I cover a lot of John Hiatt and I like Union Station. Hmm, I believe Dan of Union Station did that... There's great stuff you don't hear in the commercial waves. Damn you clear channel.
I got a tune stuck in my head, Blue Virginia Blues... by Bil Harrell and the Virginians. "Blue, Blue Virginia blue.. There's no blue like blue Virginia blue. No other girls in the whole wide world that will break your heart like a Virginia girl."

Well, it's not mine either, but I have a wide range of genres. That kind of stuff is moreso after a winding day of work for a change. I also listen to a couple bluegrass bands from Ohio that I've played with at a small festival near here. That and things like Chet Atkins and Tommy Emmanuel's "The Day the Fingerpickers Took Over the World" album. I like John Hiatt's stuff at the end of the day, as well.
