Well anyone else goy it, I've had a grand mal and countless petit mall seizures, I just had one a few seconds ago (petit mal) so this is taking me way longer to type than it should, How do you deal do you drive, what sort of laws does your state have?
isnt it irresponsible to drive? ive got a friend who gets them, shes got a bit of psychosis too. its just so inconvenient, im not sure whether moreso for the person with epelepsy or their family/close friends
yeah, we do it just to fuck with you and inconvenience people because they are SO fun. rolls eyes. I get halos that tell me get off the road, so I 've never been moving with a siezure. Colorado law says 3 yrs seizure free.
im not saying that. but you cant flip it all the way around. just because its not intentional doesnt mean its not real. i just think that the people who are close to epileptics put in a hell of a lot of care and effort and put up with inconvenience that is perhaps more than that of the person with the illness in some respects. its just an observation
6 years seizure-free in oklahoma to drive. I am friends with 3 epileptics whom I've met via service dog stuff. 2 have seizure response service dogs and one is waiting for his. All suffer major seizures on an almost daily basis. Grand mals for all three, and several other kinds between them. Only one has her license, because she only has seizures at night. Stoner bill, I understand what you are trying to say. My friends' seizures very often mess up many of the plans that we try to make, and the guy that is waiting for his dog has them so severely it is very hard to get him to leave the house and get out in public. He's very embarrassed, actually they all are, when they have seizures in front of people. Inconvenient, yes... heartbreaking, yes... but also understandable. I have my own conditions (not epilepsy) that causes just as much of an inconvenience to a schedule as their seizures do, so we are all under the understanding that no plan is ever definite with us and things are canceled at the last minute. It's just something that we accept and understand cuz that's how it is, and part of being friends. But the important thing is that no one complains about how inconvenient it is, especially not to their faces, because it's something they can't help and they are having a hard enough time dealing with it themselves. It bothers them too, ya know.
You should read the post I made on 4/20 in the marijuana forum... its about how cannibanoids can help fight seizures and epilepsy... they are just coming out with the technology to give you the beneficial effects from the cannibanoids without the nasty side effects they usually come with (paranoia, increased apetite, etc) good news for you epileptics.
IF your state has epilepsy on the med card list...and your state has med cards... Bree, six years? that's gone up.
don't eat white bread or white rice infact probably stay away from bread and rice don't drink alcohol -one character was telling me once about how he collapsed afetr downing a beer in one hit. stay away from caffeine or take it with other food. personally i wouldn't reccommend marijuana, most people i know who have been involved with it let it dominate their life until they only have one master. then again if theres other information out there look into it. get some good sleep. i've seen info that suggests people with epilepsy lack minerals etc and the b vitamins. as i say in most replies -you have to see what provokes your condition and act upon it!
