Dont Be Denied - Neil Young...but the version Widespread Panic makes me cry like a baby....especially the last time they sang it before their guitar player died of cancer... " pretty soon i met a friend, who played guitar...sittin on the steps of school, talked about being a star, we started a band, played all night..." you can just hear the energy of the crowd in the background, and you KNOW they were playing this song for Michael Houser.
Perfect Day - Lou Reed (especially this one...) The Bed - Lou Reed It Could Be Sweet - Portishead Need Your love so bad - Fleetwood Mac Mostly it's that beautiful sound, so beautiful, that makes me cry...
well, i don't really cry because of it...but sometimes when Jerry sings Morning Dew it tears me up. a lot of it is because of the context of the song though (morning after a nuclear holocaust)
ive cried so many times listening to tears in heaven this week....it kind of feels better to listen to it
The whole "Jar of flies" album by alice in chains was really depressing...but I'm a man...I don't cry
Any John Mayer song makes me emotional, partially because John Mayer was the music my ex and I always listened to together. Now it just makes me sad. But I don't recall a song ever actually making me cry. Sometimes songs will depress me or send tingles up my spine, though. Sometimes the tingles are tingles of sadness or tingles of amazement, it just depends on the situation.
ripple really moves me, the priest who gave my friends funeral sang it. it was wild to hear the dead in a church, let alond sung by the priest.
tom petty - won't back down. first time i heard it was on some episode of 7th heaven and i cried. peace & love.
I've never cried listing to a song. Closest I came was "Brokedown Palace" at Ratdog. I had chills, and was probally on the brink of tears. But there was to much friggin smoke that my eyes were watering anyway.
brokedown palace is another that is quite touching... this picture was taken at NY Times Square shortly after 9-11
