You drink, you'd have that philosophy. I know I sure did. I look at the world as a big spin of things.. everything traveling in paths of circles which can be questioned and never truely identified. Expecially in the phsycological world. Every answer will maintain a constant question to be stated there after. A constant circle of questions/ answers. You can only ever believe you've found something like, "forced or artifiical" but the truely intelligent would question that over and over and keep restating what they think. I guess it's okay to state what you think at the moment but I'm sure it'll change one day for you Lucifer.
Actually, a lot of people do, especially teenagers. My sister works in a mental ward at a children's hospital, and she has encountered many people who do self-mutilation for attention, etc. It's not all that uncommon. I'm not saying that you do that for attention, but I get the distinct feeling that people want others to think that they are depressed for some reason.
It's a forum filled with impression children... One or two say something that they honestly mean, the rest seem to follow... ~whatever~
You make a valid point with this statement. But some are born with mental defects in association with depression and what have you. I think a lot do it for attention and then at the same time, a lot of others do it for some other reason. I can't understand mutilation, I've never done it. Like you, I have a strong suspicion about this, we drink. Simply drown instead of realease. Each is a different type of gimic to try and maintain whatever it is we are trying to maintain. That whole spin theory is coming together yet again. Phsycology is one big spin. It'll never be completely understood and what we know about it now, is elementary compared to what it could be. With the evolution of questioning, we will make step by step, a greater good for the mental health of the world. Problem is, every situation has it's own circumstances and can't be generalized which I think a lot of doctors try to do these days. That's the number one mistake. Generalization of the mind can lead to no good in my book.
Lucifer, I thought I read you talking about drinking. Maybe someone else, if it was someone else, forgive me. Then this whole posting goes down the drain.. damn it.
not at all, depression and anxiety is especially rampant in todays world and is a growing trend for a lot of reasons... i think shellys response to this insane world is perfectly normal....... seriously, culture drives me bonkers sometimes with processing so much garbage... just watch TV and look at all the crap you have to sort through to find truth or just notice how much they bullshit they throw right into your face and your so used to it you just eat it all right up, i dont think its good for you at all... or go driving into a city or on a highway, it just doesnt feel right or healthy.... go for a walk in the woods and compare how you act and respond and how you feel.... i think youll notice you feel a loooooot more at peace and a lot more healthy walking somewhere natural than on a busy road or in a city or something..
