I fucking went to jail......

yep, i've had cops TRY to search me for the following reasons:

1. my tags were expired
2. i was on the way to bonnaroo
3. i had one of those license plate holders which are (supposedly) illegal in the state of 'bama.

of course, i don't let ANYONE search my car. they'll take me away in cuffs before they search me. every single one of those times i had weed and got away.

i know here they cant search you if they dont have anything on you unless you give them permission

 

right...that's "theoretically" how it is here, except cops don't really care and will search you anyway. that and supposedly they are allowed to let dogs sniff your car and if the dogs bark then they are legally allowed to search. wtf? i have no doubt that a cop could "make" a dog bark if he wanted to.

cops also push really hard, making comments like "i'm going to search your car.." and if you say no..."well if you don't have anything to hide, why can't I search?" and so lots of people get scared and let cops search, hoping they'll get off easier if they cooperate. and then there is that fact that many people cops bust can't afford a lawyer to fight an illegal search, so they just go along hoping to get an easy sentence.

 

I think it wrong that police and law hassel about. Pot is ok in moderation, is far better than getting drunk.. I think pot should be legal. I'm not aloud to smoke cause if l get busted my career would be over and then l'd fark my morgage up..

 

Actually, I'm pondering becoming a cop because the pension kicks ass. Plus, if I make something like homicide detective, I'm doing good things instead of bullshit like arresting people over small amounts of weed.

Well....sort of. Possession of 100 g or less is just a ticket but "paraphernalia" is a 6 month suspension of license, a fine, and up to 30 days in jail... and how often do you get busted with bud but no paraphernalia? :$

 

well I generally just eat buds, so I don't need much paraphenalia aside from a fork and knife

 

its a fact of life people, any minor violation can get any cop to search your car. just being "suspicious" is reason enough for them. dont transport pot around duh!! and if your tailights are out, or your headlight, or they cant properly see your license plate, or your muffler is dragging (I got pulled over for that too)..... anything..... if anything is dragging from your vehicle, expect to be pulled over. I had a broken out tailight, just a small little hole in the cover, and a cop pulled me over because he said when I hit the brakes, the light would shine right in his eyes. if I was drunk or had weed on me, I would have been screwed. seriously people, if you are going to have weed in your car, you better have a good working vehicle, one with everything in order. hell, they can stop you even easier for having "hippie" stickers on your car..... just watch out. dont become suspicious. its a fact of life, deal with it.

yeah, nothing like telling the cops, hey look at me! I like the dead! and I probably have pot or paraphanelia in my car!

 

but why should i have to deal with it? i think it's bullshit and i won't just "deal with it" cause it's not right. and i think it's bullshit that cops can pull you over for this stupid kind of shit. it's none of their business whether i wear a seatbelt or not. the license plate holder on my car hurt no one and did NOT obstruct the view of my license plate. my expired tags were simply due to the fact that my '86 ford escort couldn't pass their stupid e-check laws which exist in only 25% of Ohio counties. so while it IS a "part of life", that doesn't mean it SHOULD be, and it doesn't mean i'll bend over and wait for a spanking.

I have never put a sticker of anything on my car, but I did see one yesterday that said "AMERICA, KICKING ASS SINCE 1776!"

Those rural cops are the worst.

i remember driving through Oklahoma when I had California plates, that alone seemed to get me followed a couple of times

 

my uncle is a rural cop, and let me tell you, I did not have any favouritism whatsoever...... he was lookin out to get me....... for anything.

am i really the only one that finds this ridiculous? that a cop can pull you over for not wearing a seatbelt? or anything else they can make up on the spot, for that matter?

 

you can be arrested for going down the niagra falls in a barrel too.... or doing a base jump downtown.... just dont be stupid.

 

i was arrested (and beaten) by the same 5 cops on the same corner 5 hours after getting out of jail (by the ame 5 cops on the same corner, that beat me just as bad the night before.)


my bail went from 2500 to 50000 overnight. amaz--fuckin-ing.

funny thing, the first time they said i could go home (and kkep my stash) if i would go and buy something from anyone.. i didn't, they took my truck, sent me to jail, beat me up.... the list goes on......

however i still respect cops...... i'm not sure why, but i do.
