im getting older and still havent had a serious gf. i need a better approach. what works for ou fellas?

You're right on both counts, I think, although it is a pretty nice thing to be in a serious relationship, for the most part. Like anything, it can have drawbacks. No situation is ever perfect.

I think you should just make sure that you are being yourself; make sure to be friendly and outgoing when possible; avoid always talking about yourself to others (be able to just listen, and show interest); and make sure that "your self" is not something that another person will find obnoxious or weird. It's one thing to be an individual, and it's another to be shocking to those who meet you. Try to be middle of the road. Meet a person and let them gradually find out what makes you so unique as a person. Don't try to full-on upload the sum total of everything you are or think of yourself as being all at once. Be relaxed and easygoing. Make sure you are confident of how well you hug; hold hands; and kiss. (At the very least.) Practice those things if you have to.
