    there are also better things than ID cards in Europe.

    actually ducks might have to have passports.... i know that horses definately do these days so that all medical records can be kept and they don't end up in the food chain....so it might be the same for ducks:(

    you always bring a ray of optimisum to the threads matthew. we should make it harder for id cards not to find us then . any ideas?

    I was not wishing to be sarcastic or anything (much) but it is probably a enevitability for those E.U countries that don't have ID cards already .

    forgot too add i was being sarcastic with the optimism sentence :rolleyes: . if you support some fucken arsehole in goverment knowing your everymove fine you support it "your problem " not mine .

    Just had a thought ... if the only way of getting into Glastonbury (or similar) was with a national ID card how many people would sacrifice their principles in order to go?

    hmmmmmmmm.....choice between going to one huge great big rip-off festival and parting with months worth of savings or not having the government keeping tabs on your every move 24/7..........aint that hard a choice!!

    Unlikely..how would biometric information be accesed, how would the information be updated.. what realy would be the point of fulfilling some cheap Sci-Fi dystopian bullshit fantasy ?.. Reality is much more dull and a lot less expensive. The only good thing would be no one would lose such a chip..so yeah maybe not such a bad idea after all :p .
