how do you capture a screen shot?

how do you capture a screen shot?

 

I just hit print scrn and it pops up a dialog box to save it and all... For windows last time I tried I had to hit alt+print scrn, then open paint or photshop or somesuch, and paste (ctrl+v).

 

I use Gadwin Printscreen which is a freeware screen capturing program. You can get it from here http://www.gadwin.com/printscreen/

 

pringscreen will copy your entire screen
alt+printscreen will copy your current window
