Hey, i havent posted here in a long time... does anyone know about this college... im majoring this fall in wellness and alternative medicine.. the surroundings are amazing up in the green mountain state... i visited green mountain college many times to visit two of my old friends that go there, but i could almost describe it as lazy and its extremely clicky(and you need a car to do anything : /... i dont know how well i would do there.. but at johnson you get free shuttles to smugglers notch and burlington, the best of the woods and the best of the city! There is art all around the campus also, which makes it feel alot more welcoming...only 1500 people also and about half as much as green mountains tuition... basicly the chance to major in alternative medicine vs. environmental science made my descision(at green mountain they dont have alternative medicine)... anyone have anything to add or go there? peace -chris
Hey man, i was looking at that school awhile back, but like i decided not to go there. I understand what you mean man, Burlington was sweet, but i thought the town surronding the school was kind of sad, instead i decided to go to Umaine at Farmington instead, because i thought the town had a better feel. -Good luck next year man,
yeah... the town therer seems kinda slow... but alot of them do up in VT... how is U main at farmington working out... i just loved at johnson how everyone seemed to have purpose... the people i encountered there seemed motivated, but relaxed at the same time, not lazy .. thats what i need...off to throw a frisbee-chris
johnson state is pretty cool. i go to lyndon state up the road.... so much more lame than johnson. johnson has a bunch of heady kids, we go there to get some kynd nugs and the occasional hallucinagen.... very chill kids. not trustafarien like uvm has to offer. i love to visit johnson, unfort they dont have a major i want so im stuck at lyndon. its close to burlington to be in that scene and close to some mountains. snowboarding is huge at the vt state colleges. i would definitely suggest going to johnson. hope i helped.... peace and love
thanks, i didnt really get to see the people there so that gives me an image... that painting is awesome, is it one of yours??... i think i might have talked to you about green mountain before ... peace
