I just got like three new sets of neighbors within a half mile of my house, and was going to take them all welcome cookies, like a sweet little kid. The only thing is, I would be totally embarrassed if I took peanut butter ones and they were allergic or if they couldn't eat eggs or didn't....and so on.... Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knows a cookie recipie that can't be conquered by some evil allergy that still tastes awesome, so that I don't have to embarrass myself or kill my neighbors, and I've tasted some pretty bad health cookies.

Help would be good. :D Thank you.

your best bet would be to find some kind of good vegan cookies. to avoid most allergies you'd have to go without flour or wheat, sugar, dairy, nuts, chocolate. lol. is there such a thing that tastes good too? try vegweb.com, it's a pretty comprehensive veg and vegan site and has desserts too. aren't you the sweetest, bringing your neighbors cookies! i wish i had such neighbors...

hehe...it's just something we always did when I was a kid in Louisiana. The way it used to work was that you would make some awesome cookies or a cake or something, put them on a really nice plate and take them to someone. Then, instead of just returning the plate, the person you made the cookies for would make something for you and put it on your plate, then return it. It was just kind of an unspoken rule thing. But I was just planning on using a paper plate, since I don't have any nice ones and I doubt anyone around here knows of that tradition....:)

Thanks for the help. I'm going to check out that site. :D
