I'm learning Japanese for a few months now. Are there more people who are learning Japanese? Do you have any ehm, hints, easy ways to make it a bit easier? Please tell me.
go and live and work in Japan for a while...that will make it totally relevant and if you come back then you will have such a good groundwork to keep on with it!!!
I´m working on it, but it´s hard to find the time for it. In July I´m going to Japan for a month so then I guess I´ll be able to practise.
When I lived in Japan, I started studying Japanese last February. I don't know if I can provide you any great tips, but I tried to learn the spoken language first. If you know spoken Japanese, it'll be easier to understand everything around you. If I know for a fact I'm returning to Japan, I'll study Japanese hard.
I think the structure of the language is very simple. I don't have any troubles with the pronounciation either since my mother tongue is finnish and some words are very similar.
I've just started learing and I am hinding it a little hard to rember everything. oh well.....I guess i just have to work on it harder.
for anyone whos learning Japanese.....but maybe its a well-known site as an online dictionary? anyways good luck on your study. I'm still struggling learing English
Cool, this might be the best place to post this then. I've had this T-shirt for about a year, and have no idea what it says. I'm not definite that it's Japanese, but can anyone translate it for me?
I found that the words, and the particles, and the verbs, nouns, pronounes, all that wasn't as hard to learn as the sentence structure itself. I was talking with my old tutor on MSN and I said "nani o benkyo gakkou ni?" (Trying to say "What are you learning in school right now?"). Apparently that was quite wrong. It was "Gakkou ni benkyo shiteruno masuka?" Geh. Otherwise, it's not all that hard. Heh. Most of my learning is from anime, and it's actually kind of surprising how much I've learned. But I've also got a various selection of Japanese - English dictionaries hanging around. There's one at http://www.freedict.com or .org or something. I have another really really good one, but it's on my favourites at home. I'll post it later for you
woah that's strange.... SO AM I!!!! Whereabouts in Japan are you headed towards? I'm going to visit my bf, as he's teaching over there near Tokyo.
I konw a little~: Good morming: o a ri ra go za i ma su Sorry: su mi na se n Thank you: a ri ga do others...forget... I used to learn it, but gave up...
The letters on your T-shirt are kind decorated...I mean its not in normal style of letters. I'm sure its written in Katakana but decorated. The first letter must be 'i' and the 2nd one could be 'na' or 'chi' the 3rd must be 'to', the 4th is 'ka', the 5th is 'ri'. 'ka ri - ' means "curry" in Japanese so I guess you got your T-shirt at some curry shop in Japan?
