any one who has seen this movie knows that it rules and that is means many diffrent things personally i think that it is a mushroom trip untill they play lucy in the sky with diamonds than it is a acid trip and i would also like to know what is everyone fav part of the movie mine would have to be nowhere man or jermey ot boob or PH. D. or whene ringo jumps on the sea of green and it plays that all tripie ITS ALL IN THE MIND
i love when they're like its a cyclops, with two eyes, maybe its a bicyclopse... Uhm yeah im totally pissed cuz i searched like a muther fucker to find yellow sub, found it on the tape with the original case and all then BAM theres a influx of the 'hippie'style and everyone rushes out to buy it and they released it on dvd. assholes. keep the treasure buried!
ok, that whole movie is awesome...and quit being so elite with your "hippiness" go to an HMV, youll find it along with anythign ever made
Well the scene comes to mind first is the one with the holes.. This is definatly a movie best experienced on psychedelics..
i love that movie. i brought it to a friends house and it scared them. i dont think i could ever pick a favorite part. but i do like the part where they met jeremy and ringo reads the card (Ph-ud), and the holes, and the blue meanys are funny too.
another favirte part of the movie ringo ask the cop if he was being followed by a yellow submarie and the cop says no
that is funny.. The Beatles are my favorite. I have the DVD and the CD. I listen to the CD often, but I only watch the movie when the colors are prettier
They have those Yellow Submarine action figures now too. I got the one with Glove and Lennon in it sittin' at the head of my bed.
My favourite seen is Eleanor Rigby. It's a great flick, It would have been nice though for the DVD to inlcude the original voices recorded by the beatles as an optional audio track. Great album as well (both versions) Its all to much and Hey Bulldog are two of my fav tracks.
Eleanor Rigby is my favorite Beatles song.. It's so intense it's almost spiritual.. I always try to get my friends band to cover Hey Bulldog.. It was definatly ahead of it's time.. Of course the Beatles were head of their time a lot.. If someone like Rob Zombie or maybe Velvet Revolver, would re-do Polythene Pam I believe It would be very cool... Sorry.. if I'm getting a bit off topic
Started checking them out and found some more cool things.. http://www.popculturetoday.com/sub/ http://stores.ebay.com/2ndhandtreas...e-Collectibles_W0QQcolZ4QQdirZ1QQftidZ2QQtZkm
i saw that movie for the first time the other day.it was so cool....the blue meanies were kinda scary but at the same time funny......my favorite thing was the nothing man. how he knew everything but yet he was nothing ...or wait i think it was like that
Oh! I'm so happy after I have seen this thread!!! I can't live without Yellow Submarine!! It's great and can never die! I can watch this cartoon a million billion times and it will never make bored!! I think every moment of this film has it's own great meaing (smth like Long Men with apples - it's their corporation, Apple!). And, surely, Srg. Pepper Lonely Hearts Club Band is one of the most wonderful albums for all time!!! Do you agree????
Not exactly, originally they did record a run through of the movie using their voices. However they did not like the results so got the actors.
what i would have liked to see would have been the beatles lord of the rings...THAT would be a spectacle
Hello, Burbot! I agree with you, Beatles' King of Rings would be a huge psichodelic and unrealistic film!! The best! But it's uncannily and impossiple. ( I said this??!! I have a fever! I could never say that something is impossible!!)
