'I grok Spock' what does it mean?

    in the italian forum we have this dilemma...

    what does it mean? It should be related with the hippie culture in the '60...

    To "grok" something means to understand it on a deep, intuitive level. A term originally used in Robert Heinlein's Sci-Fi classic "Stranger in a Strange Land".

    Spock was a character on the '60s TV show "Star Trek"
