My favority is Revolution maybe, doesn't have a meaning really to me, just good sounding song. Come together is good, Strawberry Fields, Penny Lane, Eleanor Rigby. Don't really have a favorite, they're just good songs.
ahhhh... I can't pick one favorite song of their's. My favorite album, though, is Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. However, it would have been an even better album (yes, its possible ) if "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" was included on Magical Mystery Tour, and left off of the aforementioned one... I always skip that song whenever I'm listening to Pepper.
I love Abbey Road. The whole thing. When asked about his lyrics Paul used to usually say they were about trite and meaningless things. But that nonconcepuality was expressed in lyrics and music so that even now what comes through is the voice of God.
That is definitely my perspective of the Beatles in a nutshell. They did such a wide variety of amazing stuff. Thats why I find it so hard to recommend one Beatles song to someone.
Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds (you know what i mean...), Strawberry Fields Forever, When I'm 64 and so on...
