How can you forget your wearing a tampon?!?!

Ok I knew this happened to two frineds of mine and I never understood how untill it happened to me last night..wanted to laugh and cry at the same time...so heres the deal

I have been spotting for a week and a half b/c I am on the shot now and so I have been wearing really really light tampons...well basically before me and my boyfriend would go at it I would run and take it out, well last night we were all sitting around and I told him I wanted to fuck so we went to the bedroom and started to go at it, now to be fair he didnt know because the room is pitch black or way too bright so we have the lights off...well we start and I was sitting there thinking "why the fuck am I so dry" and he even asked me if it hurt because he knew something wasnt right and as I am sure you have figured out by now I left the tampon in and had to go to the bathroom for 20min to get it out...completely humiliating..especially because I had to walk out in front of everyone in the living room to go to the bathroom then I was in ther for 20min...

Feel free to laugh at my expense...me and Skye both did....just wondering if anyone else had to put up with this :&

 

I think it's funny, but I think it can also happen to anyone. I've never spotted much between periods, so I've never worn a tampon when I wasn't on my period, so I never have had that problem...and the first guy I slept with refused to do anything but kiss when I was on my period (I never got to know how the second one felt because I didn't start my period until the last day we had sex...then he broke up with me, what a bum). Eh, oh well, lol. But, hey, now you'll have a humorous party story! Hehe.

Yeah.. i've done that before too. Although, not the sex part... just tried to put another one in without removing the first. Didn't work, and I caught myself.

But...you shouldn't wear any tampon unless there is a significant blood flow. You could get that toxic shock syndrome that all the box inserts tell you about. Also, if you are removing a tampon and it hurts, it is because you are actually tearing your vaginal lining.

You shouldn't be spotting enough to require a tampon, even on Depo. Constant significant bleeding is not healthy. Not to be "Mrs. No-fun-Dr.-Girl" or whatever... I just don't want you to get sick.

 

Woo, sounds embarrassing. At least you got it out, though.

 

ahhh... that sounds horrible. hasn't ever happened to me thank goodness; and i'll second what icedteapriestess said above... you shouldn't be wearing a tampon if you're only spotting- just use pantyliners. it's not good for you.

Ive done that.. I forgot to take my tampon out and had sex.. I is pretty funny.. Aslong as you can get the tampon back out i suppose its all good

If she's comfortable enough to talk about wanting to have sex in front of her friends, why should she have to whisper and pretend they're just in there talking? That's not the point of her thread. Her thread was about forgetting that her tampon was in. Care to provide your insight to that?

Greenbutterflydaisy, I agree with the other posters-it's not healthy to wear a tampon while you're just spotting. Pantyliners that are superthin are barely noticeable.

 

They heard you in the driveway? hee hee hee That's good sex! Did you have a good time after you took the tampon out, sweetie?

 

lol well ok I dont think there is such a thing as common decency...everyone is different, and there are times where even I am modest...just not that often.

I took your advice today and will from now on...no more tampons

And yeah..the driveway...yeah it was really good but I do tend to moan pretty loud anyways...but after the tampon it was good and lasted a few hours so I'm sure his roomates got sick of hearing me lol

 

Haha, I've done that before too...exactly that lol. Luckily it was back in hubby's old bachelor house, and the bathroom was right next to his bedroom , so no having to go in front of everyone else .

And he and I also, at the time, used to have to have sex in the very next room over from everyone else. What else were we going to do? The house only had the one bedroom (hubby's roommate lived behind a curtain in the living room), and was basically the party house for all his friends, and we never could get people to freakin leave so we could have some time alone together...so yeah, we would just go in the bedroom and have our time, and if people didn't like it, tough . Although one night when a bunch of his friends were on acid, they all of a sudden decided to go on a trek around the neighborhood and one of them apparently thought his shoes were in the bedroom...so we got walked in on...then the guy realized what he'd walked in on and just stood there laughing lol. Oh well.
