Do you think the Post would sell many papers if their articles didn’t take issues to the extreme. 95 per cent of that article is shock value. Shock sells. Almost all of the info regarding this issue is biased: Animal-rights groups are very formidable, and they have their duplicitous hands in every media outlet, and they are disguised very well… this article is an example. They know the power of shock. Little 14 year-old girls from Sarasota are very easily persuaded by graphic images, not to mention, they’re gullible, and have a tremendous ability to regurgitate propaganda.

Humans are meant to eat meat (but they don’t have to and I respect their decision) (now respect ours, dammit)… if it was counter-productive we would’ve died long long ago. You think caveman was a vegetarian?

And meat will stay in your bowels for a week if meat is all you eat. Should you be a normal person with a healthy diet/happy digestive juices, meat, according to the Physiology of Digestion (a medical book) takes a good 3-4 hours to digest, after which it shall smoothly travel yer intestines with the rest of your well-balanced diet. Quit eating Doritos and have a banana.
umm.... yeah. If you hate me because I eat meat then you don't deserve to be on my ship of friends. That may not mean much to you, but, keep hating and you will not be allowed to board any ship of friends. BLT's are the bomb, baby... the bomb!

 

Freedom is something that can be defined in many ways, it can mean many different things to different people.

To me, freedom could be classed as living without government, a free people, able to live in a harmonious fashion...more harmonious than now, anyway. As nice as that would be, in time, humanity isn't really ready for living without government. Imagine how people would react? The majority of society is too dependant on said government, and things would get hysterical. Its a beautiful dream, and one that in time, may arise

 

When you see aweful pictures like that, if it's something that really bothers you (which as a living thing I sort of think it should) all you can do is vow to make a difference... help those other more unfortunate-mistreated creatures that we all take for granted...and hey if you a human rights person this thread could just as easily contain similer pictures of starving children that would be equaly disterbing and prove a similer point, don't shout about people being more important then animals, we all share this earth together...just help them too...oppression and cruelty hurts all living things subject to it, thats why it's important that we try to lead everybody to freedom, not just ourselves and our close kin...

Sometimes I don't know why I come here. The fact isn't that omnivores, you, or anyone else bother me. It's just that people get caught up in the nonsense of photos. People don't know, and if they do, often, they just don't give a shit. I stand where I stand, you stand where you stand. I don't care about you. I don't care about what you do in your own time. That depends on how it is killed and what you take from it. I know plenty of hunters who take the tender meat and throw the rest out.

If I only had a nickel for every time that was said... To tell you the truth, I enjoy politics... I've actually set 2 records in S.S. classes and i'm the first to get 600/600 on SOLs in five years in ... or since SOLs started in Gloucester... but...... I do like government, law... etc... I just don't like what comes with it. To tell you the truth, I really need to get away from the title that comes with it and just go with my own thing and not care about the stereotypes, you know, you've got to break away from it.
