What should I do to the hem of my Rasta Sidepannels??

    I just finished these!! But I dont know what to do to the bottom hem. If i Just hem it they will be tooo short..... Any Ideas, I am out of lace so I was thinking making patchwork strips to go around the bottom of each leg or something???
