1st time nude beach!!!

I went to the nude beach..... finally!!! For as much as I've wanted to be naked in the sun, it took a few minutes for me to remove my clothes.

It was awesome!!! My boyfriend and I plan on returning at least 2 more times before the summer is over!

Two things I didn't like, but didn't let bother me:1. There was only one couple that seemed like they were having a "beach day". Everyone else was sooo quiet and reserved.
2. I encountered a man who kept trying to get my attention so I would watch him masterbate

Other than that, the beach was clean, the weather was perfect and I got a good tan :sunglasse
Oh, and there weren't any bathrooms on the beach. You had to put your clothes back on to take the walk to the bathrooms.

 

Morningsong, congratulations on your new discovery! It just gets better and better. That's great that you wouldn't let a couple of losers spoil your day. As for wanting more folks to be having a "beach day", I have learned that the best way to have a great time at the nude beach or camp is to bring friends with you. If you wouldn't mind saying, which beach did you go to? I had my first nude beach experience in New England.

I've technically been on a nude beach. When I was in Martha's Vineyard five years ago, the beach I was on was a partially nude beach. There were very few people there though.

 

Too bad about the creep. Some people just can't get past the idea that if there's nudity, there has to be sex, and if the girls won't play, the boys will have to do all the playing, with themselves.

The lack of bathrooms is just another result of society saying nude beaches are for outlaws. Go there, and you don't get a place to pee and anyone can do whatever they want (see previous paragraph).

Bitterness about something that's really lots of fun--sorry! I got naked last weekend too, on Cape Cod.

 

We went out to Long Island (Atlantic Ocean swimming!!!). Robert Moses State Park I believe the name of it was. Thinking about Martha's Vineyard down the road. The next step for us should be nude camping... we'll see I've got some research to do!!

 

My girlfriend and I are going camping at Our Haven in French Lick IN on July 16-18. It is a nudist camp. This will be our first outing and we are very excited. My kids will be out of town so we get a break and we are going to take advantage of it. We often lounge around the house nude after the kids go to bed. Stepping outside is just the logical next step.

 

i absolutely *love* the nude beach at Mazomanie, Wisconsin. It's on the wisconsin river in an absolutely beautiful setting. I've been there many times, and fully intend to go back this year if possible.

And as for creeps, well, I've had only one bad experience. Two years ago, a guy came up to me and started talking to me (ok, no problem). Then, he started playing with himself (problem). I made it perfectly clear I wasn't interested and he left....

I won't let scum like that spoil a good thing for me.... I still love the place, and there's always a lot of people there, so you always feel safe.

 

First time on a nude beach is usually lovely- don't let the few bad people put you off.

 

Regarding the creeps, most nude beaches are self-policing. At Secret Cove in Lake Tahoe, for instance, if anybody gets out of line, the regulars will let him know right away that it's not appreciated. It's nice to know you won't be hassled.
