favorite sport

Really I suppose my favorite sport ot play is soccer, though volleyball is enjoyable too, disc golf is alright if I'm bored.. Pretty much all sports suck to watch, though womens beach volleyball is alright..

cricket wasn't up there, but soccer is good enough, you get to hurt dumbasses who think they can head it, very fun

In PE every week i get to play football, and its just an excuse to kick shit out of chavs!!

Ahaha my mom and I go to this open jam on friday nights and they play a lot of Hank covers and stuff...All country. I think Hank's starting to overcome my Dylan obsession...

 

That's actually my favorite too. We used to have a Beneteau First 345... it had the deep 6'4" keel. I wish we still had it. It was my grandfathers, we used to sail in a regatta on the Chesapeake. I still remember a lot of it... I just wish I could have kept the practice.

I can't understand why you would say this. could you let me know why?
there are many aspects of sport I detest, like the fact a baseball player can get paid two million dollars a month to play a game, when the world's brightest scientists, doctors, political leaders, etc. don't earn anywhere near that.
Another thing I deplore is the fanatical and sometimes fatal devotion some sports fans have for 'their' team. Soccer hooliganism is a good example.
But sports are healthy, social, and have little downside, imho, so why hate them?

 

I never had no fancy boat like that. But my dad used to have J/24 and raced a lot, plus taught a sailing class sometimes. I learned to swim when I was really little by being tied to the boat and thrown off the back. It's been quite a while since I've really been sailing much though, I really need to get back into the practice.. My brother and I were considering going halves on a small, fast boat.

 

I hate participating in sports With teams? I don't like the competition mostly...

I suppose that's just my quick generalization... I like things like skiing and swimming and running and whatnot... I just prefer to do them solo.. I assumed becky meant sports as in..teams etc.. so i didn't vote ahha. that's all. i guess i don't reeeeeeally hate alllllll sports if you want to look at it that way.

 

I would guess that sailing was not a choice cuz 99.99999% of the worlds population will never be able to afford to do it.

Elephant polo was also not on the list, nor was airplane racing. And neither was synchronized swimming, sled dog racing, racquet ball, lacrosse, or bathtub racing.

 

I've always wanted to go hang gliding.

 

I did that two Summers ago. Jockey's Ridge in North Carolina.... same site of the Wright Brothers 1902 flight.
