i think you guys misintrepreted a lot of what i was saying, and i still do contend that i know a lot more than conventional doctors, or like i said, what they actually enforce in their lives or practice. medecine and the body is not something too too complicated really i dont think, i mean yeah theres science and people attend college for years learning about the nitty gritty detail stuff, but truly the best medecine is prevention and leading a healthy lifestyle which is a fairly simple thing really, and that is something i think a lot of doctors do not embrace at all, because our culture condemns change or a relatively disciplined lifestyle or overcoming desire or whatever, and they feel they cant convey the importance of that i guess, when in actuality all of those things are very rewarding.... and access to unconventional knowledge to heal when the rare occasion prevention fails you is relatively easy to come across i think... i do not really plan to live off the land totally or survive in the wilderness, but anything is possible though..but i do not think its nearly as hard as you guys are creating it out to be. i think anything is possible if you set your mind to it, and if you want it and your meant to do it, the learning will do itself and it wont be "a ton of hard work" or whatever you called it. and i get what your saying hhb about tom brown being sordove a sellout... i still think he offers a lot of valuable teachings and i think ive carried away some stuff from him that i would not have gotten otherwise or would have taken me a long time to figure out on my own...
I skipped most of this thread because I don't think negative attitudes are productive. But Fractual, man, keep the faith. To anyone who's got the balls to go for it, I say go for it. To anyone who says it can't be done, I say that's probably right, in your case. Cynics always fail.
